Former Maryland Terrapin Steve Blake had a HUGE game for the Lakers !!! He was just one of the many assets the Lakers used. It seemed like for awhile he could not miss a 3 from the "promised land."Mike Brown's team had an impressive game 7 despite blowing a 16 point lead after half time.
Most impressive about this win was that the cast did not need an all impressive Kobe Bryant at amazing numbers as he was in game 6. But, Kobe still had a solid performance.
In a Flip flopping game 7 the Lakers and Nuggets battled it out till the end. Like a game of chess, both teams had good moves, and opponents were very strategic but only one could come out on top! Coming down to the fourth quarter, the game came to close to the wire.
After a bad game 6 Pau Gasol had one of his best games. He was unstoppable as if he were playing like his life depended on it. This is the aggressive Gasol the Lakers need. Bynum was also a difference. He had sa spectacular game after a horrible game 6. What a difference a game makes. The Lakers came out new and improved, a Lakers team that may just have the tools to win it all. Better late than never, the Lakers showed up, showed off and showed out.
Overall, great game, worth staying up for. MVP of the Nuggets was definitely Ty Lawson. He could not be stopped. He is the all around player but unfortunately he needed his team's help to win this game which they did not.
Now there is World Peace as Metta is off to play in another series. Will his defense hold up?
Final Score
Lakers:96
Nuggets:87
Now off to play Oklahoma can the Los Angeles handle the thunder?
