PRESEASON NFL FOOTBALL IT'S HERE

IT ALL GOES DOWN TOMORROW! NFL PRESEASON ACTION! TOMORROW is the make or break day for rookies, the day we see what veterans still got it! Who's in and who's out? It all starts 7:30 pm tomorrow where the Ravens take on the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field and the Jaguars take on the Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

The preseason of week 1 action continues  through Aug 15th be sure to watch and see watch what your team has to offer.

AFTER four long months football fans dreams and prayers have came true with he NFL back in action. THE NFL CAME BACK BETTER AND STRONGER WITH SO MANY UNEXPECTED SURPRISES! A STEP CLOSER TO SEEING OUR FAV PLAYERS BACK IN NFL ACTION!

Four long months of meetings and negotiations NFL owners had a PROPOSAL, that finally both sides could agree on for a healthy matrimony. Meeting in he middle finally the proposal passed with a vote of 31-0. The proposal was sent to the NFL Players Association whom all of America was expecting a decision last Thursday or Friday but the players weren't happy with the proposal, send them into a fury of footballzillas. THE LOCKOUT STILL LOOMS WITH BOTH SIDES HITTING THE LINE HARD LIKE IN FOOTBALL, BUT LET'S HOPE AT THE END OF THIS GAME BOTH SIDES CAN AGREE SOON AND SHAKE HANDS. BRING THE FANS BACK THE NFL!

BASKETBALL IS BASKETBALL...WATCH THE WNBA

Tonight the Indiana Fever took on the Phoenix Mercury, with the INDIANA FEVER claiming VICTORY winning on there home court 91-86. Katie Douglas, the seasoned veteran was the lead scorer with 26 point, followed closely by Jessica Davenport who set a new career high tonight with 25 points. In this intense fast paced game, the game came down to the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter was a nail bitter with Davenport making 10 of 11 field goals and didn't miss until the FINAL MINUTE OF THE GAME! But, The MERCURY did hold strong throughout the game with Diana Taurasi and DeWanna Bonnerboth scoring 15 points each! BUT IN THE END THIS BRAWL CAUGHT the HEAT, AND LEFT THE FEVER WITH A WIN!

NBA DRAFT: WHOS IN WHOS NOT

Kyle Irving from DUKE was as everyone expected! He was picked first and now a member of the Cleveland Caviler's! Will he be the new Lebron for Cleveland? Maryland sensation Jordan Williams was chosen to go to the NETS 36th in the second round! Will be be the next Juan Dixon sensation for Maryland? Williams leaves a lot of questions in the air! Another Williams, Derrick Williams from Arizona was picked second and now has a home with the Timberwolves!Tune in now to the draft to see if your favorite player got picked and see where they are headed. This year's draft class seems to be one of the most interesting in year's because I feel the rookie's class best player will be up for grabs with big named players headed all over the many regions! Heat cant bring the heat to #Dallas. Dallas wins the 2011 Championship!

The game started off with Miami dominating James was 3 for 3. Dirk went out early in the first, with two early quick cheap fouls! But Dallas didn't even need DIRK the first half was dominated by Barea, and Terry with Stevenson having an amazing game as well. These men rand threes making this a finals with some of the most 3 pointers ever! 32-27 mavs lead first quarter. Stevenson went 3/3 from downtown in the second quarter!The biggest excitement came when an all out brawl was on the court with all players from both teams running into the middle of the court. This resulted in Dirk shooting the technical! Luckily no player was thrown out for this!TERRY 17 first half points mostly 3’s before it was over. He finished the first half with 19. For Miamai james had 11 in the first half, wade 9 and bosh 9. Dirk was 1/12 at the end of the first half with his team up by two at half time. Second half started with DIRK on fire finally again making a field goal. This was just the beginning of his comeback! Terry came out hot again after halftime quickly getting 24 points AFter halftime it came down to the fourth QUARTER! Mavs lead 81-72 going into the 4th. DIRK hits a beautiful three, 8 points in the fourth quarter near the end
 2.20 fourth quarter Miami down by 10. This was when it was basically over. Miami began to lose desire and motivation walking around court as Heat fans sat in silence. BUZZ!

This is the Mavericks first win i franchise history. Dirk got MVP of the finals while Kidd got his first championship in 17 years. Best player in game 6 though was definitely Terry who seemed to knock down everything he threw up!

THE MAVS WIN GAME 5 IN A CONVINCING MANNER COOLING OFF THE HEAT WITH A WIN OF 112-103! A surprising BAREA, the smallest man on the court, DIRK, TERRY AND KIDD playing like he did back in the day combined to shut WADE and LEBRON'S HEAT down! DIRK WAS PLAYER OF THE GAME deservingly with almost 30 points. Lebron had a triple double but that wasn't enough to stop DALLAS! DALLAS OUT BLOCKED OUT PLAYED AND OUTSCORED THE HEAT which were there keys to winning. Also, DALLAS played as a team, they played with more heart, it's evident DALLAS is ready to close it out! Wade came back after an injury and had a great game but even he could not lead his team to victory. LOOK forward to an all important game 6 SUNDAY!

NOT EVEN A HIGH FEVER COULD STOP DIRK AND DALLAS,

after a slow start DALLAS brought the heat to the Miami HEAT!THE last seconds featured DIRK penetrating to the whole, and Lebron losing the ball and all hope for his team to take game 4. MAC Miller tried to tie it with a three at the end. He shot he...wasn't even close to scoring AIRBALL! GAME 4 awarded to THE DALLAS MAVERICKS!With the series tied who will win this down to the wire match up? Game 5 THURSDAY!!!!

88-86 THE GAME CAME DOWN AS DIRK SHOW HIS FAVORITE SHOT IN THE LAST SECONDS OF THE GAME JUST MISSING IT sending a silence over all the Mavs fans. With a fourth quarter resulting it multiple ties it was once again the DIRK vs. LEBRON and WADE show. BOSH also lent a big hand to the HEAT's win. DIRK wishes he could have that last spot back walking to the locker room without acknowledging fans but he played an amazing game as usual none the less. WADE had one of his best game making it seemed as everything he threw up. Will the MAVS take the next game tying the series up again or will THE HEAT continue their hot streak and extend the series to 3-1.

With the series ties at 1-1, will it be the Bigger MAVS to win or the faster HEAT? EVERYTHING depends on this game for the winning team to be a step closer to a national championship. Dallas quieted fans as his performance was nothing less than spectacular.This game proved why these two teams are in the finals!

THE DUO OF WADE AND ROSE was to much for DIRK and DALLAS to handle.Unfortunately, for DALLLAS they can usually count on there bench of whom wasn't a factor tonight. BOSH, again shined tonight as he has done this season and Wade got his groove back as he had a dominating performance. THE HEAT made it known they want the reign, proving too hot too handle for DALLAS! This game was so placed but expect a pickup next game as DIRK and DALLAS prepare for vengeance.

MARYLAND MEN AND WOMEN DEFEATED IN CHAMPIONSHIPS

MARYLAND sent two teams, there men and women's lacrosse teams to the championships, but unfortanetly for Maryland the the terp lost this race. MARYLAND's momentum was lost as there men fell to Virginia men's lacrosse team led by star Dom Starsia as they beat Maryland 9-7. MARYLAND's women fell to Northwestern also leaving the school with no lacrosse championships this year but with MARYLAND'S strong powerhouse player's I wouldn't be surprised if next year they do take home to titles!!!!

NEXT WEEK there will be the showdown between Miami and Dallas, Maryland Men's lacrosse vs. Virginia Men's Lacrosse, Maryland's Women lacrosse vs.  Northwestern so TUNE IN TO SEE WHO WILL BE CROWNED!

MATT STOVER LEAVES A LEGACY AS HE LEAVES THE RAVENS!

JUST AS HINES WARD, ARGUABLY ONE OF THE MOST HATED PLAYERS BY THE BALTIMORE RAVENS WINS DANCING WITH THE STARS, MATT STOVER WILL RECIEVE THE TOP AWARD OF THE Ring of Honor.  As a Raven STOVER only missed one extra point attempt! HE had the seventh best field goal percentage rating in NFL history. He truly is an exceptional player and had a great reign. Congratulations to the Ravens and Stover.

THE KING REGINS! LEBORN AND HEAT WIN THE EAST!

EVEN with the BULLS holding the lead for most of the game just like OKC they can't finish in the fourth quarter! THE WHOLE GAME LOOKED AS IF THE BULLS WOULD TAKE IT! Especially since, WADE had a bad game but MIAMI still held strong thanks in big part to BOSH! ROSE, NOAH AND BOOZER LET THE CHAMPIONSHIP SLIP AWAY FROM THEM! It was a hard fought game coming down to the last seconds but in the end only the WINNER MATTERS! WERE down to the best of the EAST and the WEST in the championship!

It was almost heartbreaking to see the game slip out of the reach of OKC's hand. Durant's and Harden's three point attempts in the last second's of the game just didn't go down! I could feel the pain of the resident's of OKC as DAL again comes from behind to win in the American Airlines Center.SHAWN MARION"S FIRST NBA FINALS! DIRK MOST BE A DESCENDANT OF ONE OF THE GREEK GODS!CONGRATULATIONS to the Mavericks. DIRK CARRIED THE TEAM ON HIS SHOULDERS!MARK CUBAN is not going to know what to do with himself. Let's just say Dallas is the city to be in tonight! THIS VETERAN TEAM HAS SENT A NOTE TO THE NBA: there not to be messed with!

OKC vs. DAL.... GAME 4

As many of us tun in at nine tonight this is a match up I like but I feel DAL will take. But can Coach Brooks lead his team to a championship. With Kevin Durant leading an all star team, vs Jason Kidd, ex Wizard Caron Butler, and the huge German Dirk Nowitzki it will be a match-up for a pivotal game 4 tune in!

DOWN WITH THE HEAT!

Heat may have took this game but Bulls still got it. I'm convinced Derrick Rose will lead them to straight wins throughout the rest of the series. The three headed dragon of Rose, Noah and Boozer once on tempo will not be able to be stopped. Even the Miami fans were screaming for Rose MVP. Lebron cant even get respect in his own house. Miami may have stopped the Heat's momentum but we all know what goes up must come down. The BULLS will SHUT MIAMI DOWN!

Currently I just flipped to the game on TNT. While I feel that Miami is a better team, Lebron and Wade are trying to be a Shaq and Kobe duo. But with college stars Rose and Noah looking like they've played the game there whole lives who's to say how this game will turn out. I know I'm rooting for the Bulls. They are the under dogs and feature my MVP, Derrick Rose. This game will come down to the last seconds and I feel Noah's already two fouls will be a factor!
